How do I know what size maternity bathing suit to get?
Question by Kelsey Tyler: How do I know what size maternity bathing suit to get?
I am currently 18 weeks pregnant. I don't really show but my breasts have grown. I want to get a maternity swimsuit but I do not know what size to get in order to accommodate so that it fits for awhile this summer. Any suggestions on how much room I should leave to grow in the suit?

Well a tankini would probably work out for ya, unless you don't like showing your belly. Or I'd go to a maternity store and just try on some suites.

Maternity shops have fake bellies they can strap to you, so that you can better judge. Maternity bathing suits have plenty of stretch, so you can be pretty sure it will fit throughout the summer.
get what fits now, with maternity clothes you will be continually buying bigger clothes, or just wait until you need one. Its hard to predict how big you will be. good luck hope this helps
in maternal area in shopping store but i think few stall have a maternity swim wear
I’m 16 weeks and just bought my bathing suit….i went for the same size that i am now and when i tried it on it fitted really well…the sides are gathered and when pulled there is plenty of room for an expanding belly, by the looks of things this is going to last me til the end.
i suppose the best thing to is go and try some one and you’ll have a better idea of what fits you and what you feel comfortable in
Hope this helps

You buy just as if you buy a normal swimsuit. A good maternity swimsuit has pleats on the side to allow for tummy growth. What you buy now should last for the summer. You will find that the the bathing suit will stretch as you grow.
