Question by j: What type of swimsuit should I wear while pregnant? Does it matter?
As it warms up I'm going to be in the final 3 months of my pregnancy and it's HOT down here in Texas! I know to use a sunscreen and avoid overheating, but I'm sure I'll still take an occasional swim (if I don't feel like a whale by then haha). Does it matter what type of swimsuit I wear??

Me too… I went to Mimi maternity and got an okay one, but very momish and i’m so not momish. I am hoping my string bikinis will go under belly(: Here’s hoping!

Wear whatever you feel comfy in. Pregnancy is beautiful so show it off, or wear a one piece if you want!!!
If you’re in the final trimester wear what you will feel most comfortable in.

A bikini!!! I Love Pregnant bellys in bikinis!!! Just stick to whatever you fell the most comfortable in!
Congratulations! I don’t really think that it matters as long as you wear plenty of sunscreen and make sure that the swimsuit is not too tight fitting around your tummy. Good luck (with the swimsuit and the birth)!

Wear a three-piece Bikini,
I don’t think it matters much what type of swimsuit you wear as long as it’s comfortable. Lots of cute maternity swimsuits out there as well. I’ll be in my third trimester as well during the summer and plan on getting the swim shorts and tankini so I cover the belly. Don’t worry, we’ll just feel like whales… Everyone else will call us cute
i think takini’s are the most flattering to wear while pregnant!
No! let it all hang and be proud! I felt a little self conscious – but you are pregnant and probably look lovely and feel lovely like I did.
I just wore a one piece and avoided the slides.
my grandmother insists I wear one that covers my belly. but I love to show off my bump and would be happy in a bikini.
Its a beautiful thing In my opinion.
But in her day you just didnt show it off and they thought it was very unattractive. who knows why
