Summer weather is just around the corner, and for those lucky ones who live in warmer areas it is already here. Whether it is poolside lounging, river rafting, or swimming in the ocean, these summer activities all require the same thing: the perfect swimsuit. If you are pregnant, there are a multitude of stylish yet comfortable maternity swimsuits available to fit your personal taste and needs. From cute bikinis to modern halters, there is an option for every style and size. Find the swimsuit that is perfect for you, and you will feel comfortable and sexy in the water all day long.

A great style to consider in maternity swimwear is a tankini, as it creates a happy medium between a bikini and a one piece. If you want to show some skin but are not quite comfortable in a bikini, a tankini finds that perfect balance. Generally designed with an empire waist accent, drawing attention to the smallest part of your body, a tankini will then flow loosely over your baby bump, creating a beautiful flowing shape while allowing room for your belly to grow. A tankini with a halter top design (often called a halterkini) is a stylish yet practical option as it is adjustable at the neck, allowing you to fit the swimsuit perfectly to your shape.

Maternal America designs some modern and stylish maternity tankinis which will make you feel confident and look great. A fast selling design is their Coco O-Ring Tankini. This gorgeous tankini, is a beautiful glacier green, is incredibly flattering and stylish. The bead embellished halter creates a unique touch. Equally comfortable as it is stylish, side tie bottoms are adjustable to your personal size. From the beach to a pool party to lounging in your backyard, this maternity tankini is stunning.

Another great maternity tankini comes from Prego and is new this year: the Maternity V-kini. This tankini is sexy with a deep v-cut design at the neck, yet very supportive as optional halter straps are provided. The tankini flows beautifully over your belly and creates a chic look. Coming in black, classic elegance with a sexy touch is created. A maternity tankini is comfortable yet fashionable, and provides the ability to move around with ease.

For those who want to bear a bit more skin, there are a variety of sexy yet comfortable and functional maternity bikinis to choose from. A bikini is a great option as it does not constrain your growing baby bump in any way. One cute option comes from maternity designer BelaBumBum. Their Aqua Ring Maternity Bikini is very stylish and comes in a gorgeous floral pattern. Adjustable halter and back ties allow you to fit the bikini top perfectly to your shape, ensuring you will be comfortable all day long. Cute bottoms with silver rings on the hips are modern and sexy.

The Maternity Dot Bikini (in brown or black) from well-known designer Prego features a cute dot pattern which is always in style. The adjustable padded halter top is comfortable and practical, while the rectangular ring design creates a unique and flattering look. This swimsuit hugs your curves and stretches with you throughout your pregnancy. Maternity bikinis are sexy and stylish while still providing you with comfort and support.

If you are not ready to show as much skin, there are many maternity one-piece swimsuits which are both comfortable and stylish. A one piece is always classic and flattering, and done in a modern twist really makes a statement. A favorite is the One Piece Keyhole Swimsuit from Maternal America. This maternity one-piece is very functional, as it comes with an adjustable halter tie neck and padded bra. As comfortable and practical as it is, it is also incredibly sexy and figure flattering. A deep v-neck provides sexiness while also elongating the shape of your body. The keyhole design with ruching is modern and figure flattering. Coming in a variety of colors, this swimsuit perfectly combines style and comfort. A one piece maternity swimsuit is fantastic for any swimwear occasion.

Finding the perfect swimsuit that keeps you comfortable and feeling confident during your pregnancy may seem like a daunting task, but with the many options available you are sure to find the swimsuit perfect for you. As long as you feel comfortable in what you are wearing, you will feel confident and stylish on the beach or at the poolside.

It seems that the geographical position does not matter when people devise their list of beachwear. Whether we live in a hot country or not, we still need swimsuits, either for the summer holiday when we fly to exotic places or for the local swimming pool that most of us like going to. A maternity swimsuit is now among the women's most searched for items online.

Everyone knows that having a baby should not prevent any woman from living her life in the way she desires if certain precautions are taken along the way. Thus, a maternity swimsuit is something that most of the modern ladies keep in their closet for luring summer days or just a break from the daily routine.

There is a wide variety of swimsuits available on the web and this must be the reason why more and more people prefer to do their shopping online. Even those who are interested in plus sizes have a good chance to find what they are looking for in online stores. If you take some time to browse thoroughly, you will be able to find really nice models of maternity bathing suits and other items of pregnancy swimwear at quite affordable prices. A maternity swimsuit of the latest trend will not only make you look better and feel better about your new shape and size but also allow you to enjoy the ocean or sea without feeling the discomfort that an ordinary plus size bathing suit can bring if it was not created specially for your condition. Get a nice maternity swimsuit or a matching plus size beachwear and you will be the queen of the beach.

If you have no access to a well-supplied a maternity swimsuit shop in your area, you probably plan to purchase one online. Finding the right model and size will not be difficult since most websites help you pick the right size by offering detailed steps onto how to measure your body. A one piece maternity swimsuit is probably the best choice if you need a plus size swimsuit and want to feel comfortable and safe while swimming or just lying on the beach. However, a two-piece maternity swimsuit can be fairly reliable in early pregnancy.

The online offer is huge so there will be a great number of colour options for you to choose from. If you want to follow the latest trend, pick the colour of the year and accessories to match your maternity swimsuit: bracelets, hats, sandals, beach dresses and towels. Don't forget to buy a nice pair of sunglasses and be confident in your looks.

Select your maternity swimsuit with a full confidence. Learn how to avoid common mistakes when choosing maternity beachwear, and enjoy your holidays!

Surely, being pregnant won't stop you from enjoying the beach? Each holiday season, thousands of expecting women participate in the beach fun: swimming, games and relaxing sunbathing. All, thanks to maternity swimwear that makes them "unrecognizable" from every other female. Yes, if you want to hide your condition, you can easily do it wearing specially designed beachwear.

Maternity apparel is cut in a different manner. Do not take maternity clothes for big size clothing - it is not the same. If you think you can just pick a bigger size than your regular when you are pregnant, you might be disappointed. Maternity wear is designed to conform to certain transformations that have nothing in common with usual weight gain. Nothing is simple about bathing suits. Insist on having an extended waist shape in your maternity bathing suit, that is very different from your "normal" kind of beachwear. Of course, with some women, special attention should be paid to size as well. Whilst during the first period of pregnancy you'll get by using the regular size, in the second you'll need plus size maternity swimwear.

Not surprisingly, a plus size maternity swimsuit is harder to design and produce than the regular kind. Only very few swimsuits will make you looking your best. Thus, the material and colour selection is very important if we want to look slimmer. Some maternity swimsuits present new design solution, only recently released by the designer teams. In spite of all this, there is a great selection of nice-looking plus size maternity swimsuits out there, so you won't need to worry about your looks, even in the ninth month of pregnancy.

We all know (or think we do) how we look during this special time of our lives and even if we have a tendency towards exaggeration, our friends or family can sense the changes better than we do. You may ask for advice from your husband or mother before starting to shop for maternity swimsuits; just do not worry about the availability of proper styles to choose from. Online stores have often a much greater collection than your local shops, including department stores. There are a lot of online shops selling maternity swimsuits for all body shapes, in a wide range of fashionable styles.

There are some stunningly attractive maternity swimsuits offered at low prices, if you know where to look. You can browse and compare prices right from your home, using online shopping megamalls and portals. Most of them will ship maternity items to all parts of the world for quite reasonable fees.

Maternity swimsuits are available online if you know where to search. Consider important criteria that will determine the comfort level of your pregnancy swimwear. Unbiased reviews and latest discounts available at http://maternity-swimsuit.net right now!

Question by Baby #1 Due on HALLOWEEN!: Should I buy a maternity swimsuit or just a tankini?
I'm due with my first sometime in the last week of October to the first week of November, so come May-Aug I will be in my second trimester. I'm 11 weeks now and not showing, just bloated.

For the summer, should I get an actual maternity swimsuit, or should I just get a regular tankini style swimsuit, to cover up any bump I might have, since I will only be second trimester during swimsuit season?

Thanks for the help :)

Did you wear a swimsuit during your pregnancy?

Question by Cuacualti: Did you wear a swimsuit during your pregnancy?
The first time I was pregnant it was during the winter and I lived in a place where going swimming was not really an option, even in the spring or fall. I see some women that wear 2 piece swimsuits while they are pregnant and I wonder how they do it. I feel so self conscious about my stomach that I almost don't want to go swimming. I live in a place now that is very hot and it's almost impossible to not go swimming. I know there's a reason I'm fat and I shouldn't feel bad about how I look, but I just do, I can't even imagine wearing a 2 piece right now.

I think if I ever get pregnant during summer I'll wear a bikini. I think I'd like to show off my belly
